Arabian Gulf Switchgear  was initially established in 1976 and later on it was registered as a Limited Liability Company. AGS Objective is to manufacture high quality Low Voltage switchboards and motor control centers. The present paid up capital is AED. Two million. The modern offices, factory, stores and other facilities are located in spacious premises of approximately 5000 Sq. M. at industrial area 15, Sharjah, since beginning of year 2000. The move was necessary in order to increase AGS production capabilities to cope up with the tremendous construction activities in the Gulf region and as the growth and demand of AGS products continues at unprecedented pace, further expansion of its production, storage and other facilities is being planned. AGS employees’ strength at present is approximately 250 including engineers, administrative staff and technicians.

During the three decades of its existence, AGS has grown in stature and always remained a step ahead of competitors. Its commitment to customers’ requirements, and vision enabled AGS to steadily grow and become a Confident Market Leader of its own Class. AGS has been able to utilize latest technology in the field and provide customers with most economical solutions of the highest possible quality. AGS has been able to build up customer confidence and a large database of loyal clients. With long history in design and assembly of products to individual customer’s requirement and specifications and the in-depth knowledge of the local Standards, requirements and climatic conditions, AGS has developed expertise to offer solutions in the Electrical Power Distribution, Electronic Engineering, Energy Management systems and SCADA. It has co-operation and franchise agreements with reputed international organizations, but has been able to establish its own name and carry its own banner in the field of specialized low voltage switchgear industry as a reliable manufacturer in the local and international markets.

Arabian Gulf Switchgear Ltd., established in the Emirate of Sharjah since 1976, with its long history in design and assembly   of products to individual customer's requirements and specifications with after sales service, is able to offer solutions in the Electrical Power Distribution, Electronic Engineering and Energy Management Systems.  The policy of AGS is "to offer products and services of the highest quality using the latest techniques and technology in the areas of operation" and   Objective is to "meet customer requirements through continual improvement of products and services by providing proper training to personnel and using quality components".

          In order to attain the maximum quality of products and services offered to customers, procedures and work instructions for all functions and activities have been established and ensured availability of necessary resources. Stringent controls to monitor performance of individual activities within the Organization and its suppliers, have been implemented, in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 Standards as well as applicable Statutory and Regulatory requirements.  All employees have been made aware of these requirements. The application of a System of Processes within the Organization and interaction between them has been identified for the effectiveness and efficiency of the Management System. The management is committed to comply with the requirements and continually improve the effectiveness of the quality management system.

          The Quality Manager has been given the authority to maintain the documented systems, procedures and work instructions. The General Manager together with the Quality Manager, are responsible for the implementation, periodical review of continuing suitability and suggest continual improvement of the Quality Management System, the objective and policy adopted and laid down in the Quality Manual. The aim of AGS is "Quality, Economics, Continual improvement ensuring maximum Satisfaction to its Customers".

   G) PRODUCTION FACILITY: 

AGS production facility with its expertise is one of the best in the area achieving conformity to product requirements. Clean workspace and associated utilities have been made available and maintained in all the areas of production, storage for raw materials, finished products, offices and other places. Design of products is carried out using the latest software. Proper equipment and tools have been provided for production and testing according to the Quality Objective and Policy of the Company. Appropriate tools and equipment are checked and calibrated at planned intervals, in order to ensure highest quality of products and services
